42nd FIMA Council Meeting
4-7 September 2025
Banda Aceh, Indonesia
33 IMAs from 23 countries met in Banda Aceh to report annual activities and discuss future plans for Palestine. A new resolution was made to support the families of 1580+ martyred healthcare workers. FIMA welcomed 2 new member IMA: IMAHPA of Mauritius and Hayat Society of Syria. The Council also elected new FIMA office bearer for the term 2025-2027.
3 paralel scientific meetings were well attended namely SKIC, IHC and CIMCO.
FIMA would like to extend a huge appreciation to host IIMA (Indonesian Islamic Medical Association: FOKI, MUKISI, IMANI) and the Medical Faculty of Universitas Syiah Kuala. Jazakumullah khairan kathira for the outstanding hospitality. We enjoyed our stay in Banda Aceh, one of the most memorable.
