Student Activity Unit (UKM) Scientific Discussion Forum (FDI) Hippocampus is an organization that has the aim of educating the nation's life and developing scientifically-based human beings who have faith and fear of God Almighty.
UKM FDI Hippocampus FK USK was established on December 4, 2013 at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Syiah Kuala. The Hippocampus FDI UKM was approved to be more oriented towards professional student institutions with an emphasis on education, interdisciplinary research, by prioritizing morality and upholding religious values.
UKM FDI Hippocampus is required to be able to make a positive contribution in the context of developing understanding, applying research results and improving student achievement in relation to solving problems that exist in the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University and the State of Indonesia.
Since 2020, UKM FDI Hippocampus has been one of the Permanent Members of BAPIN-ISMKI until now.
