Welcome to the website of the Master’s Program in Tropical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University. Vision of the Master’s Program in Tropical Medicine is to establish a Master's Program in Tropical Medicine that produces innovative, competitive, and excellent experts in Tropical Medicine, capable of solving health problems through the development of knowledge in the aspects of One Health and Disaster Management of Tropical and Infectious Diseases by the year 2025.
The Master's Program in Tropical Medicine is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University. This program was established on June 10, 2022. Graduates of the Master's Program in Tropical Medicine can become educators, researchers, and community activists.
The curriculum includes topics such as Epidemiology, Pathogens in Infectious Diseases (Microbiology and Parasitology), Surveillance, Neglected Tropical Diseases, Entomology, Research Methodology, Biostatistics, Management of Infectious Disease Control, One Health, and others.
The Master's Program in Tropical Medicine focuses on One Health and the management of tropical and infectious disease disasters.
