Vision, Mission, & Objectives


Vision of the Tropical Medicine Master's Program

To establish a Master's Program in Tropical Medicine that produces innovative, competitive, and excellent experts in Tropical Medicine, capable of solving health problems through the development of knowledge in the aspects of One Health and Disaster Management of Tropical and Infectious Diseases by the year 2025.


Mission of the Tropical Medicine Master's Program

1. Conduct educational programs with a focus on developing knowledge, being competitive and excellent, and being able to apply knowledge to face challenges in health development, while being sensitive to the environment and society.

2. Conduct innovative research in the fields of One Health and Disaster Management of Tropical and Infectious Diseases within health research.

3. Carry out community service based on high cultural, moral, and integrity values by implementing strategies of One Health and Disaster Management of Tropical and Infectious Diseases.

4. Become an educational institution that actively participates in national and regional health development by actively participating in addressing and solving health problems, and creating innovative works that will promote increased life expectancy and quality of life for the Indonesian people, as well as reducing the incidence of infectious diseases through aspects of One Health and Disaster Management of Tropical and Infectious Diseases.


Objectives of the Tropical Medicine Master's Program

1. To produce graduates who are innovative, excellent, and in demand in the field of tropical medicine, to support health development, increase life expectancy, and reduce the prevalence of tropical infectious diseases

2. To produce research and community service contributions that advance the field of tropical medicine.

3. To produce graduates who are competitive and capable of facing global changes, ready to compete, and able to solve health problems with a focus on One Health and disaster management of tropical and infectious diseases.
