The Anatomical Pathology Section is a preclinical section under the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Syiah Kuala. At its inception in 1984, it consisted of one staff, namely dr. Istanul Badiri, M.S., Sp.PA, which in its development there is an increase in the number of staff, namely (the late) dr. Lukas Samin, Sp.PA, DFM and (late) dr. Fajriah, Sp. PA. Currently, the Anatomical Pathology section consists of 4 (four) active teaching staff, namely:
1. Dr. dr. Reno Keumalazia Kamarlis, Sp.PA (K)
2. dr. Vera Dewi Mulia, Sp.PA
3. dr. Fitri Dewi Ismida, M.Ked (PA)., Sp.PA
4. dr. Darma Satria, M.Sc., M.Ked.Klin.,Sp.BTKV
In addition to playing a role in medical education, profession and PPDS status from the Surgical, Lung and Respiratory Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology study programs, several staff of the Anatomical Pathology section of the Faculty of Medicine-USK also assisted the process of anatomical pathology services at RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin as the main teaching hospital of FK-USK.
The vision of the AP-USK Section is to organize educational, research activities that are superior, competitive and innovative.
