Around 1980 the Clinical Pathology Division was led by its Head Dr Alfian Burhan DSPK until 1991. Furthermore, due to the very limited number of teaching staff in the Clinical Pathology Division, lectures for the Clinical Pathology course were still collaborating with Lecturers from the University of North Sumatra (USU)
At that time, Lecturers of Clinical Pathology from USU came to FK-USK to teach Clinical Pathology courses in collaboration with FK-USK lecturer Dr. Sulaiman Yusuf from 1991-1996. Learning of Clinical Pathology courses is not only in the form of lectures but also in the form of clinical practicums held at the FK-USK Clinical Pathology Laboratory
Furthermore, the Clinical Pathology Section was led by Dr. Harwita DSPK for almost 14 years because at that time he was the only Clinical Pathology Doctor in Banda Aceh apart from serving as a teacher. He was also appointed as Head of the Clinical Pathology Laboratory at Zainal Abidin Hospital Banda Aceh, as an educational hospital in Aceh in collaboration with FK-USK. In 2010 Dr Bukhari, SpPK continued leadership in the Clinical Pathology Section for 5 years and then continued by Dr Desiana SpPK .
Currently the FK-USK Clinical Pathology Section has 6 teaching staff consisting of 3 outstanding lecturers at USK Medical Faculty and 3 permanent staff. They are Dr Bukhari SpPK, Dr Desiana, M Ked (Clin Path) SpPK, Dr Cut Murzalina, SpPK, Dr Vivi Keumalawati, SpPK , M.kes, Dr Rina Harlianty M.Ked (Clin Path) SpPK, Dr Resqi Maulani M.Ked (Clin Path), SpPK
In the field of education, the Clinical Pathology Section has also conducted guidance and lecture activities for young doctors who are stationed at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of RSUZA and actively participates in community service activities.
