Dr. Mulkan, Sp.P., concluded the speech session by reminding students about the importance of collaboration in research. He explained that success in research is often achieved through solid teamwork and good coordination.
The orientation event also included various workshops and discussions designed to give new students a deep understanding of the biomedical world. One of the most anticipated workshop sessions was on basic laboratory techniques led by experienced lecturers.
New students were given the opportunity to interact directly with lecturers and senior students in a networking session. This was a great opportunity for them to build connections and get valuable advice from those who have already walked the academic path in this program.
Additionally, the event featured an exhibition of student research projects. New students could see various innovative projects carried out by senior students and get inspired for their own future research.
An interactive Q&A session was also held to answer various questions from new students. The lecturers patiently explained various aspects of the program and provided guidance on the best ways to undertake their studies.
The orientation event concluded with a reflection session where new students were invited to contemplate their goals and aspirations during their studies in the Biomedical Sciences program. They were encouraged to make personal plans on how they would achieve their academic and career goals.
By holding this event, the Biomedical Sciences Program hopes to provide a good start for new students. They are expected to take advantage of all available opportunities to develop themselves, innovate, and make positive contributions in the biomedical field.
The orientation participants were very enthusiastic and felt motivated to begin their academic journey. They realized that they had joined a supportive community ready to assist them in every step of their journey.
Thanks to all the lecturers and staff who participated in this event. We hope this orientation is a successful first step for new students in achieving their dreams and goals.
