Friendly Gathering of the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University “Strengthen Collaboration and Unite Potential Towards the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University at a Global Level.

Banda Aceh, Wednesday, May 17 2023. The Faculty of Medicine held a Friendly Gathering event in the framework of the USK Faculty of Medicine's Halal Bi Halal Gathering as well as the release of the academic community who will carry out the pilgrimage and discharge of retirement. The event was themed "Strengthen Collaboration and Unify Potential Towards the Faculty of Medicine, University of Syiah Kuala at the Global Level".

The friendly meeting was held in the courtyard of the Faculty of Medicine Faculty of Medicine, Darussalam Banda Aceh campus and was attended by staff and educational staff of the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University. The Friendly Gathering was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University. Prof. Dr. dr. Maimun Syukri, Sp.PD KGH., FINASIM. In his remarks, the dean expressed his gratitude for achieving a superior rating in the accreditation of several study programs and an excellent rating in the accreditation of the Doctor of Medical Sciences Study Program and international accreditation has been accommodated. On this occasion the Dean also said that the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, continues to grow and new study programs have been established, both masters and specialist study programs. In addition, he also explained that the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Syiah Kuala was entrusted with assisting the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medistra Health Institute and Al Muslim University.

This gathering event was filled with lectures and prayers by the Head of the Banda Aceh City Ministry of Religion Ust Abrar Zym S.AG., M.H where he said that the purpose of this meeting was Halal bi halal even though the implementation was at the end of Shawwal. In his lecture he conveyed that Indonesia's life is diverse with the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. He also recounted the history of halal bi halal which began in 1935 by traders from India who sold martabak and in 1948 halal bi halal was held to resolve disharmony, forgive each other. He also gave tausiyah that Ied Fitri is the time for us to return to fitri. After a full month we carry out worship in the month of Ramadan we also balance relations with Allah and humans with friendship because friendship is good morals.

On this happy occasion he also conveyed the Word of God in Surah Al Baqarah verse 196 concerning the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages because on this occasion also the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, had the opportunity to send off the USK FK Academic Community who would carry out the pilgrimage including: Drs. Saminan, M.Sc and his wife, dr. Kulsum. M.Ked(An) Sp.An,KNA; dr. Meilya Silvalila, Sp.EM; dr. Vera Dewi Mulya, Sp.PA. As many as 2 people from USK's FK will serve as PPIH, namely dr. Kulsum and dr. Meilya. In addition to releasing the prospective haj pilgrims, during this gathering event, the release of retired academics was also carried out, namely Ms. Nurhayati, Bpk. Bakhtiar and Mrs. Tjut Maryam Zanaria, M.S.
