(Banda Aceh, April 2021).

The 17 Specialist Doctors came from 5 PPDS Study Programs, namely:

Child Health Sciences (2 Persons)

Prof. Maimun in his speech said, with the inauguration of 17 Specialist Doctors, the total number of alumni of the USK PPDS is 75 Internal Medicine, 70 Surgery, 21 Gynecology Obstetrics, 3 Neurology.

For this reason, Prof. Maimun expressed gratitude and pride for their success in completing their studies, so they are ready to serve the community.

To this new Specialist, Prof. Maimun advised to maintain the good name of their alma mater by working with integrity. And don't forget to continue to establish communication and friendship with the USK FK community.

If later in providing services you encounter problems, don't hesitate to contact your teachers here. God willing, we are ready to help each other so that strong communication can be established

he said.

In addition, Prof. Maimun admitted that currently there are several USK PPDS alumni who already have institutions as places of service. Meanwhile, for those who do not have an institution, Prof. Maimun revealed that the USK Medical Faculty was willing to facilitate them to become staff at the USK Medical Faculty.

Because at this time we need staff to increase student acceptance. Of course it is an honor, if any of you are willing to serve here.

he said.

USK Vice Chancellor I Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan representing the University Leaders congratulated this new USK PPDS graduate. Their long experience during their education will be a very valuable provision to serve in the community.

Prof. Marwan also greatly appreciated several USK PPDS graduates who chose to return to their regions. Moreover, these areas are classified as remote or underdeveloped areas. Because Prof. Marwan assessed, the availability of specialist doctors for such areas is certainly very limited.

This is very much in line with our main objective in establishing PPDS, which is to supply the needs of specialist doctors in the regions. So we are very proud of your choice to return to the area

he said.

On this occasion Prof. Marwan also invited the entire USK FK academic community to become agents of change in society, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic. The trick is to invite the public to comply with health protocols and provide education so that this pandemic can end soon.

As we know, the case of Covid 19 in Aceh has recently started to rise again. For this reason, I hope that all of us can be actively involved so that this pandemic can pass soon

he concluded.

The appointments are made online and offline. Where 8 people follow offline while 9 others are online. Also attending this activity were USK FK Vice Deans and several USK PPDS Study Program Coordinators.
