The initial assessment team sent by the Aceh regional government was an integrated team consisting of academics from Syiah Kuala University, staff from the Aceh Disaster Management Agency (BPBA), medical personnel from the Zainal Abidin General Hospital (RSUZA), the Health Service, Social Service and Doctors' Association. This team departed based on the Governor's assignment letter. The integrated assessment team formed by the Aceh government left for Lombok on 10 August.
