Field Assessment Visitation Accreditation of the Biomedical Science Masters Study Program

Banda Aceh, May 22, 2023. The Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, carries out Accreditation for the Biomedical Science Masters Study Program at Building E, 2nd Floor, FK USK. The visitation in the framework of the Biomedical Science Masters Study Program Accreditation Field Assessment was carried out by an assessor from LAM-PTKES namely Dr. Drs. Kusmardi, M.SC and dr. Mariatul Fadilah, MARS., Ph.D. This activity was attended by the Chancellor of Syiah Kuala University Prof.Dr.Ir. Marwan and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Syiah Kuala Prof.Dr.dr. Maimun Syukri, Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM.

During the field assessment visitation which took place on 22-23 May 2023, the visitation team carried out a series of activities, including observations of laboratory facilities, interviews with lecturers and students, and a review of the implemented curriculum. They also evaluate the quality of research conducted by the teaching staff and students of the study program.

This field assessment visitation is also an important moment for the Biomedical Science Masters Study Program. If this study program successfully passes the visitation properly, the accreditation given by LAM-PTKES will be proof of recognition of the quality of education provided. This will enhance the reputation of the study program and increase the attractiveness of prospective students wishing to pursue studies in biomedical sciences.

It is hoped that the results of this visitation will have a positive impact on the development of the Biomedical Science Masters Study Program at Syiah Kuala University and will encourage the university to continue to improve the quality of education and the quality of research in the field of biomedical science.
